A tilting table, or tilt table, is a medical device used for patients with orthopedic, neurological, or cardiovascular conditions to facilitate standing, improve upright tolerance, and prevent complications from immobility. A manual tilting table operates via a hand crank mechanism to gradually raise the patient from a horizontal to near-vertical position, locking into place at desired angles for therapeutic standing, rehabilitation, and standing training to improve circulation, bone health, and functional independence. These tables are equipped with safety features like patient restraints, stable bases, and locking casters for mobility, as well as padding for comfort.
