CCL550i2 responds to a demand for higher performance in digital mammography monitor by having achieved the contrast ratio of 1300:1, which can accommodate images from any modality including ultrasound, CT, MRI, pathology and digital mammography. Color images are automatically recognized to provide optimized contrast, brightness and gamma. No user intervention is required. Automatic brightness control for text data to reduce eye strain for patient lists and reporting application. Compared to the conventional CCFL backlight models, CCL550i2 with LED backlight system saves about 20% energy and will hold brightness much longer. Additionally, mercury-free LED backlight contributes to reduce the environmental impacts. With two built-in sensors for luminance stabilization and ambient light measurement, CCL550i2 consistently delivers unmatched image quality. DICOM conformance check and calibration can be remotely performed. These remote management features will minimize the burden of system administrators.
